Marie Nicod has joined Jolt Capital, a Paris-based Private Equity firm, as its new Investment Director. Nicod will focus on sourcing and preparing Jolt Capital’s equity investments, leveraging her vast expertise in complex systems engineering and the management of multidisciplinary industrial teams. Jean Schmitt, a representative of Jolt Capital, emphasized that Nicod’s appointment reinforces the firm’s growth strategy both in Europe and worldwide. Nicod’s extensive experience in dual technologies and large-scale industrial projects, along with her background working in the defense industry at companies like Naval Group and Thales, will be beneficial in enhancing Jolt Capital’s investment capabilities. Prior to joining Jolt Capital, Nicod has held significant roles such as Group Technical Director and Executive Committee member at Aresia, and Investment Director Deeptech at Expansion.
