Capsa AI, a London-based startup, has raised £1.7 million in a new funding round to enhance its AI-driven platform designed to automate business compliance work. Located in Kings Cross, Capsa aims to replace manual, low-skill compliance tasks for private equity fund investors. These tasks include creating company profiles, consolidating financial information, analyzing financial performance, and reviewing customer contracts. The co-founder, Danyal Zdzenciler, highlights the significant productivity and efficiency gains already achieved for major PE firms, envisioning the technology to transform collaboration, knowledge sharing, and decision-making in private equity markets. The funding round was led by Outward VC, with participation from Cornerstone VC, Antler, and several angel investors. Outward VC’s principal, Sanchit Dhote, emphasized the exponential growth and complexity of data in private markets, positioning Capsa AI as a pivotal player in adopting AI technologies within the PE industry.
