Inflexion Private Equity has appointed Yuri Mikhalev and Michael Baster as new partners. Yuri Mikhalev, specialized in technology investments, brings 16 years of experience and joins from Keensight Capital. He will work alongside Sergio Ferrarini on Inflexion’s Buyout and Partnership Capital Funds. Michael Baster, with 14 years of experience in mid-market investments, joins from Crescent Capital Partners and will focus on the Enterprise Funds’ business services investments, collaborating with Andrew Mainwaring. Their appointments are part of Inflexion’s broader team expansion, adding 30 new hires across its European offices and growing the team to over 180 members. Inflexion has been actively investing, with five new investments, five realisations, and 39 portfolio acquisitions in 2024 so far.
