Carwow Group has expanded its consumer-to-business (‘Sell My Car’) service to readers of Auto Express, an automotive magazine and website. With this expansion, all private seller-listed cars on Auto Express will be featured in Carwow’s daily online auctions, where up to 5,500 dealers place bids. This move aims to provide dealers with access to a larger volume of fresh used stock and new audiences. The integration follows Carwow’s acquisition of Auto Express, Evo, Driving Electric, and CarBuyer from Autovia earlier this year. The service is straightforward: users enter their registration, receive a free valuation, upload images, and await bids. If a bid is accepted, the dealer arranges collection and payment. Carwow plans to integrate Auto Express’s 3.8 million monthly visitors to achieve rapid growth, joining other UK automotive marketplaces in partnering with consumer media. Recently, Carwow secured £41 million ($52 million) in funding to boost its growth in the UK, Germany, and Spain.
