Led by Rupa Popat, Arya Ventures aims to invest in up to 60 pre-seed and seed-stage companies over the next four years across sectors such as HealthTech, FinTech, and ClimateTech. The fund will provide investment amounts ranging from $200,000 to $550,000 and aims to offer a community-powered model that provides significant value-add beyond capital. The fund, which comprises 80 investors from diverse backgrounds, will make 10 to 15 investments per year, reserving 25% for repeat founders. Popat’s prior investments include the likes of Sequel and Lapse, which have seen notable success.
