Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) has entered into an agreement to commit €900 million to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ (CIP) fifth flagship fund, CI V, as part of its strategy to build a portfolio in unlisted renewable energy infrastructure. This investment will provide NBIM with exposure to renewable energy projects in the development stage, including offshore and onshore wind, solar farms, grid and distribution, and storage across North America, Western Europe, and developed countries in the Asia Pacific region.
