Packaging With Robots Limited (PWR), a leader in automated robotic packaging systems for the food industry, has announced a strategic alliance with Coesia S.p.A., a global leader in industrial and packaging solutions. PWR specializes in large multi-robot lines with advanced vision systems and pick & place technology, primarily servicing segments such as bakery, confectionery, snacks, and pet food. The company, headquartered in Bellshill, UK, with operations in the Netherlands, has so far focused on Europe and Australia but now aims to expand into North America. The strategic alliance with Coesia will leverage the latter’s experience and infrastructure to facilitate this growth. Oaklins Evelyn Partners, a UK-based advisory firm, acted as the lead advisor on this transaction, which involved the disposal of a minority stake in PWR. Oaklins Evelyn Partners also provided tax advice, ensuring a seamless and successful transaction.
