Huron Capital, a prominent middle-market private equity firm, has announced the first acquisition for its Rampart Exterior Services platform by purchasing Independent Roofing Systems. Founded in 1980 and based in central Mississippi, Independent Roofing Systems serves key sectors such as education, government, and industry. The acquisition will see Independent’s existing leaders remain in charge, supported by Rampart’s CEO Gabe Mesanza. The move is part of Huron’s strategy to build a leading group in commercial exterior services. Honigman LLP and Moss Adams LLP acted as legal and financial advisors, respectively, to Huron in this transaction.
