International Game Technology Plc (IGT) has appointed Nick Khin as the new president for its global gaming division. Previously serving as IGT’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Gaming since 2015, Mr. Khin brings over 23 years of industry experience. In his new role, he will oversee the management of IGT’s global gaming business unit, including studios, technology, sales, games and hardware, manufacturing and services, and systems, and will report to CEO Vince Sadusky. His appointment comes as IGT prepares to sell its gaming and PlayDigital businesses to Apollo Global Management for $4.05 billion. Additionally, IGT announced second-quarter net income attributable to shareholders of $42 million, with revenue from the global gaming and digital segment at $436 million. Previous changes to the board and executive team were made in March.
