In a strategic move aimed at bolstering the cybersecurity landscape for SMEs, Cardiff-based consultancy firm PureCyber has secured a £5 million investment from Business Growth Fund (BGF). Founded in 2016 by CEO Damon Rands, PureCyber offers a comprehensive range of cybersecurity solutions including brand protection, incident response, global penetration testing, and fully managed SOC services. Known for its innovative approach, the firm has made its best-in-class services accessible to various sectors such as professional and financial services, manufacturing, education, and sports. This investment will enable PureCyber to expand its client base across SMEs and grow its market share among larger, global enterprises. With the addition of Ben Marnham as Non-Executive Chair, PureCyber is well-positioned to tap into the expanding cyber market. BGF investors Hannah King and Edwin Davies led the deal and expressed confidence in PureCyber’s vision and growth potential.
