Argus Group is undergoing a significant leadership change pending its proposed merger with BF&M. The merger will result in Abigail Clifford, current President and CEO of BF&M, taking on the role of CEO for the newly combined entity. Peter Dunkerley, Argus’s CFO and Deputy CEO, will maintain his role as Chief Financial Officer. Chairman of BF&M, Anthony Joaquin, will become chairman of the combined company. Alison Hill, who has led Argus Group for 15 years, has opted to step down to facilitate a smooth transition. She will oversee Argus until the merger is completed, which is anticipated to happen in the fourth quarter of the year. Once the merger is finalized, Hill plans to take a break before seeking new opportunities, preferably in Bermuda.
