Actis, a prominent global investor in sustainable infrastructure, has officially launched the Connectis Tower brand following its acquisition of a significant macro tower portfolio from Telekom Srbija. The portfolio comprises around 1,800 towers spread across Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro. With plans to expand the platform beginning in 2024, Actis positions Connectis Tower to become a leading independent tower operator in the Balkans. The seasoned management team spearheading this venture includes Group CEO Bogdan Djukic and Group CFO Jovana Nikolic, who both bring over 17 years of industry experience. Connectis Tower, with services that bolster better-functioning economies and enhanced connectivity, represents a strategic shift towards independent infrastructure management, enabling quicker tech rollouts like 5G and supporting economic development with a focus on rural regions. Based in Belgrade, with additional offices in Banja Luka and Podgorica, Connectis Tower aligns with Actis’s philosophy of investing in sustainable infrastructure that meets contemporary connectivity requirements.
