Supremex Inc., a North American leader in the manufacture and distribution of envelopes as well as an emerging packaging solutions provider, announced the acquisition of assets from Forest Envelope Group, a regional specialty envelope manufacturing leader operating out of Bolingbrook, Illinois. Forest Envelope has over 40 years of history and is known for the quality of its products, customer service excellence, and timely delivery. The transaction concluded for approximately USD 1.8 million on a cash-free debt-free basis, adjusted as usual, and financed through the Company’s existing credit facility. CEO Stewart Emerson emphasized that the acquisition aligns with Supremex’s current activities in the American Midwest as they plan to integrate Forest Envelope’s operations into their existing facilities in Naperville and Chicago within the next 90 days. This strategic move is projected to result in seamless client transitions and offer them a broader product range and additional capabilities. Supremex anticipates the integration to swiftly generate synergies across the US Envelope sector of their network. Supremex sustains a manufacturing presence across four Canadian provinces and four American states, employing approximately 1,000 people, and catering to large national and multinational corporations, direct mail companies, distributors, government bodies, small and medium-sized enterprises, and solution providers.
