Omnidocs, a Danish company specializing in smart document creation software and backed by Main Capital Partners, has acquired a majority stake in Dania Software, a leading document creation software provider. Dania Software, founded in 2015, primarily serves the Danish public sector but also has a growing international presence in countries including Sweden, Norway, and the UK. This acquisition marks the first step in Omnidocs’ buy-and-build strategy initiated in January 2024 and is set to expand Omnidocs’ reach into new verticals while fortifying its market position. The combined capabilities of both companies will enhance service offerings to public clients and multinational enterprises, making them better poised to become a dominant player in the European and U.S. markets. Key stakeholders, including Lars Hintze Andersen, CEO of Dania Software, and Jeppe Schytte-Hansen, CEO and Co-founder of Omnidocs, have expressed their positive outlook on the collaboration. Wessel Ploegmakers, Partner & Head of Nordics at Main Capital Partners, emphasized the acquisition’s strategic importance in strengthening their market positioning and delivering enhanced value to clients.
