London-based Accredit Solutions, an event accreditation software provider, has secured a substantial £10 million investment from Gresham House Ventures to fuel its global expansion efforts. Founded in 2017, the company creates software for event organizers to assess security risks by collecting security screening documents, processing data, and carrying out automated background checks for personnel at major events—a system that has been utilized by prominent sports organizations such as the Premier League, NFL, and NBA. With the aim of scaling its operations internationally, Accredit Solutions plan to leverage the investment to explore new market opportunities. Investment partner Greg Blin from Gresham House Ventures praised Accredit Solutions for its impressive client base and the quality of its solutions. In his view, the company is poised to take advantage of the global market space and benefit from the interconnected nature of the sports and live event industry, which relies heavily on referrals for solution discovery. As part of the investment arrangement, Gresham House Ventures’ partner Matt Mead will take a seat on the board of Accredit. Gresham House Ventures has a history of nurturing growth equity in various sectors, having previously invested in MyTutor and Bidnamic. Accredit Solutions’ CEO, Peder Berg, expressed enthusiasm about the investment, highlighting the significant opportunity for the company to expand into new markets with the backing of Gresham House Ventures. Berg’s statement indicates a strategic alignment between the two parties, with a shared vision for capitalizing on Accredit’s successful track record and advancing its growth trajectory,
